Gabriel ‘Gabigol’ Barbosa has reiterated that he will not make a decision on his future until after the conclusion of the Club World Cup.
The 23-year-old is currently out on loan at Flamengo but has kept himself quiet about where his future could lie due to not wanting to distract himself or his teammates.
“I am calm and happy. If I had not played in Europe, maybe I would not be where I am today. It was very difficult to get here, I am very happy with Flamengo and I hope to end the season with another trophy,” he explained to Portuguese news outlet A Bola.
“It is of no use to take me things about my future as my attention is focused on the Club World Cup. This is one of the greatest moments in Flamengo’s history. It was very difficult against Al Hilal bu I think we did very well and now there is the final to look forward to.”
