Legendary Inter midfielder and current youth team coach Dejan Stankovic could be the next manager of Red Star Belgrade according to a report from Tutto Mercato Web.

Stankovic, who only took up his coaching role at the clubs recently, could return to where it all began for him as a player with the Serbian side’s current manager Vladan Milojević seemingly set to resign following intense scrutiny over the team’s poor performances in the Champions League this season.

Red Star, who won the competition back in 1991, won just one of their six group stage games and lost the remaining five, which included 5-0 and 4-0 losses to Tottenham Hotspur as well as a 6-0 hiding from Bayern Munich.
