Former Inter midfielder Georgios Karagounis has shared his thoughts and feelings on where he thinks Inter are headed this season based upon their form at the near half way stage of the season.

“I have good memories of my time with Inter. Inter are a great club. I always support Inter, even when I am in my native Greece and I hope that the team can have success this year. The team are on the right track to win something important this season,” he explained in an interview with Inter’s in-house channel Inter TV.

The Greek spent two years with Inter between 2003 and 2005 and made 36 appearances across all competitions for the club before moving to Portugual where he joined Benfica.

The midfielder, who made 139 appearances for the Greek national team in a 16 year national team career, did not manage to score during his time in the Nerazzurri shirt but did manage to provide one assist.
