Noted Italian journalist Mario Sconcerti has shared his thoughts on Barcelona midfielder Arturo Vidal, who has drawn strong links to Inter ahead of the January transfer window.

“He is worth a lot, because he is a player who is technically good and also has great temperament. The only problem is his age. He is a player who lives for battles on the pitch. For a team that must always demonstrate their superiority, Vidal is the ideal player,” he remarked in an interview with Italian radio station TMW Radio.

Vidal is seen as one of Inter’s primary targets to strengthen their midfield department and has made it clear that he wishes to leave his current employers, with him even recently storming out of training due to being unhappy with his current situation.

The 32-year-old Chilean international has made 18 appearances across all competitions this season, in which he has scored four goals and provided a single assist.
