Inter youngster Samuele Mulattieri has shared his disappointment following Inter’s elimination from the Primavera TIM Cup after a 2-1 loss to Frosinone.

“It hurts because we underestimated the game, we thought we would win it but instead we should have faced it as we do every other match which is with the right spirit. The manager told us that he cared so much, we were the ones to underestimate the match,” he told gathered reporters, including FCInterNews.it.

“In my opinion, the result was not down to a lack of effort but rather it was an attitude problem. It could have been the case that some players were not fit as others but it should not be a justification for the result.”

The Italian youth international then went on to speak on the Primavera’s season so far.

“We started very well, then we had a difficult period. At the beginning of December with the victory over Chievo we recovered and then this defeat came.”
