Fabrizio Ravanelli believes that the race for the title in Serie A will go down to the wire with three teams battling it out to be crowned Italian champions.

“Juventus and Inter are playing on equal terms and Lazio are just a step below them. The three of them will fight for the title until the end of the season. The first four months of the season have been sensational,” he told Roman newspaper Corriere dello Sport.

“Inter are growing both physically and mentally and never giving up. Juve is the usual Juve, even if they have changed their playing style. Lazio have meanwhile learned to believe in themselves for the full game. They have taken a big step forward.”

Ravanelli also sang the praises of Inter striker Lautaro Martinez, who has netted 13 goals in 22 appearances across all competitions and Romelu Lukaku.

“What Lautaro is doing this season defies logic, he is proving himself to be a great champion and real driving force. Lukaku is living up to his transfer fee and he is scoring important goals. They are a well-matched partnership.”
