Inter and Atalanta are edging ever closer to agreeing a deal that will see Dejan Kulusevski join the Nerazzurri in the Summer according to a report in today’s print edition of Gazzetta dello Sport.

Inter president Steven Zhang and chief executive Giuseppe ‘Beppe’ Marotta met with Atalanta chairman Luca Percassi, the son of the Bergamo club’s owner Antonio.

This was not the first, nor will it be the last, time that the clubs meet. The meeting brought the parties closer to finding an agreement but work still needs to be done.

As per the Milanese newspaper, about €5 million currently separates the clubs in talks over the 19-year-old Swedish international midfielders.

Inter are willing to fork out €35 million whilst Atalanta are understood to be holding out for €40 million for Kulusevki, who is currently out on loan at fellow Serie A club Parma.

The report goes on to state that Juventus and Manchester United are both also interested but are not at the stage Inter are at with Atalanta with it looking highly likely that a deal will be completed.
