Nemanja Matic has sang the praises of former manager Antonio Conte and is of the belief that he will do ‘great things’ during his tenure in charge of the Nerazzurri.

“He is crazy about football. He works 24 hours a day, analysing his players and opponents to the fullest. Tactically speaking he is certainly one of the best in the world. His teams need to run at the same tempo for 95 minutes,” he began a recent interview.

“He is a professional and one of the best in the world. He will do great things for Inter, I am sure of it.”

Matic could well find himself reunited with the former Italian national team manager with there having been many links between himself and Inter ahead of the January transfer window.

The Serbian, who worked under Conte at Chelsea, is out of contract with Manchester United come the end of the season and therefore could be a cheap option Inter go in for to strengthen their midfield department.
