Atalanta coach Gian Piero Gasperini spoke about Inter transfer target Dejan Kulusevski in an interview with Italian broadcaster DAZN today, after the Bergamo based club’s 5-0 win over AC Milan in the Serie A.
“Kulusevski is an Atalanta player. He’s doing extraordinary things. He was already training with us at the age of 16 and had extraordinary skills.”
Gasperini then touched on whether the 19-year-old Swede could return to Atalanta after his loan expires with Parma, rather than being sold to a different club such as Inter or Juventus.
“We should ask President Percassi. He left us because in that role we already had Gomez and Ilicic with Malinovskyi arriving. He needs to play, and at Parma he found the ideal environment to explode immediately.”
Kulusevski has made 19 appearances for Parma so far this season, scoring four goals and providing seven assists in that time. His strong performances and impressive vision in midfield have seen both Inter and Juventus look to sign him next summer.
