Inter could make a January transfer window move for Udinese’s Rodrigo de Paul due to the difficulties they are facing in trying to acquire other targets according to a report in today’s print edition of Tuttosport.
The Nerazzurri have taken a keen interest in signing Barcelona’s Arturo Vidal and Atalanta’s Dejan Kulusevski but deals for both players are far from easy whilst a deal with Udinese for de Paul seems easier in comparison.
Inter want Vidal on loan but Barcelona would only allow that if there was an obligation to buy attached. They would also let Vidal go for €20-25 million but Inter do not wish to sign him that way.
As for Kulusevski, the 19-year-old Swedish starlet is valued at €40 million by Atalanta, who are willing to deal him away. However, Kulusevski is currently out on loan at Parma and they seemingly have no interest in letting him go early.
The report goes on to explain that Udinese value the versatile de Paul at €35 million and Inter could make a loan with option to buy deal and would be willing to pay handsomely for the loan.
