Inter could be pay an expensive loan sum in a bid to secure the signing of Arturo Vidal in the January transfer window according to a report in today’s print edition of Corriere della Sera.

The Chilean international is one of the Nerazzurri’s top targets for January but Barcelona, as per various reports, have no intention of letting him go, despite the fact he has fallen down the pecking order this season.

Barcelona are believed to be completely against the idea of loaning the 32-year-old out, unless the loan comes with an obligation to buy attached.

Inter do not want an obligation to buy attached but would be willing to include an option to buy. As per Corriere della Sera, Inter would be willing to give Barcelona €5 million to take Vidal on loan for the remainder of the season.

This season Vidal has made 19 appearances across all competitions for the Blaugrana, who he joined in the Summer of 2018 from Bayern Munich. He has scored five goals and tallied one assist.
