Arturo Vidal has refused to discuss his uncertain future with Barcelona upon arriving back in his native Chile to spend the festive period.
“My future is a topic that I leave to other people. For now I do not worry about it, much less so because I am on holiday. I did my job, now it is up to my agent,” he is quoted as saying by Italian news agency ANSA.
“I am very happy to be at Barcelona but we will see what will happen when I return to training. God forbid that I continue to play and continue play in Europe for a long time.
“The decision on who goes on the pitch is down to the manager and not me. I remain calm and try to take advantage of all the chances that are granted to me, possibly by scoring goals because it is something I really like doing. I hope to raise trophies at the end of the season.”
