Parma coach Roberto D’Aversa discussed the future of Inter target Dejan Kulusevski in an interview with Italian broadcaster Sky Sports Italia after the Emilian club’s 1-1 draw against Brescia yesterday.

“The club knows how important the player is. I don’t know who would have given him these possibilities and I think it’s right to give him continuity. It’s an advantage for us to keep him. If he plays between the lines, he moves wide and he can be devastating. In midfield he’s still light.”

He elaborated further on the 19-year-old Swede.

“As an idea and concept, he’s to be used in the forward role. I’ve had a number of strong players, but as a young man with perspective he’s one of the best. I hope these rumours don’t change him. I’ve also lost Gervinho, someone please leave him to me.”

Kulusevski got another assist in yesterday’s draw, to bring his season total so far to seven.
