Noted journalist Maurizio Pistocchi has shared his thoughts and feelings on the proposed swap deal between Inter and Napoli that would see Matteo Politano and Fernando Llorente swapped.
“Inter and Napoli are closing in on a swap deal involving Politano and Llorente? I believe this is not a move that will shift the balance,” Pistocchi explained in an interview with Italian radio station Radio Kiss Kiss.
“Maybe it could be advantageous for the clubs but we will have to wait and see what happens but it does not seem to me to be anything striking.”
Pistocchi then went on to suggest one Inter player he thinks would be ideal for Gennaro Gattuso’s Napoli side.
“The ideal footballer for Napoli is Diego Godin. If he were paired with Kalidou Koulibaly, they would do excellent things together. Napoli are lacking a defender like him. With Koulibaly, he would form the perfect pair.”
