Former Inter striker Christian Vieri has sang the praises of Inter striker Romelu Lukaku after another excellent performance at the weekend.

Lukaku scored twice, provided an assist and unselfishly handed a penalty to 17-year-old Sebastiano Esposito to enable him to score his first goal at first team level as Inter ran out 4-0 winners over Genoa on Saturday evening at San Siro.

“Romelu Lukaku is among the most complete strikers in Europe. I do not care what the others say,” Vieri explained in an interview with Italian television show Tiki Taka.

“I have seen all the games that the Belgian has played. He has been doing it for 10 years. If people out there says he is poor, then I do not give a damn.”

Lukaku, who joined Inter in a club record transfer deal from Manchester United this past Summer, has made 22 appearances across all competitions this season. In 1843 minutes, he has scored 14 goals and provided three assists.
