Wanda Icardi, the wife and agent of Inter owned Mauro Icardi has attempted to dismiss several claims that have been made about her and her husband in the media.
“It is not true that I want to ruin my husband’s career. Whoever says that Mauro is my little dog does not know him. They infuriated me when they said that I had an affair with a teammate of my husband,” she remarked in an interview with Italian television show Le lene.
“With another prosecutor maybe he would have gotten more but he would have gone to play where he did not want to. I have an Inter supporting son and Inter will always be in our hearts. Will Icardi come back to Inter? I cannot answer that.”
Icardi was loaned to Paris Saint Germain on transfer deadline day, a move which put an end to months of controversy between Inter and the Icardi’s. Since arriving in Paris, he has scored 14 goals in 18 games.
