Noted journalist Fabrizio Biasin has claimed that Cagliari’s Nahitan Nandez is the alternative Inter will go after if unable to do a deal for primary January transfer window target Arturo Vidal.

“Arturo Vidal is the favourite for the midfield but the deal for him is complicated, the alternative is Nahitan Nandez of Cagliari, but only if the Nerazzurri agree to give them Radja Nainggolan again next season. For left back however, the goal remains the same and it is Marcos Alonso,” Biasin claimed as part of his latest editorial for TuttoMercatoWeb.

Nandez has performed very well for the Sardinian’s in his first season at the club following his arrival from Argentine giants Boca Juniors during the Summer.

The 23-year-old midfielder has made 18 appearances across all competitions to date for the Rossoblu club, who have surprised many with their performances this season. In 1227 minutes, he has scored one goal and given three assists.
