In an interview with Italian radio station Radio Sportiva, Rodrigo Fuentealba, a journalist for Chilean newspaper La Cuarta, has provided an update regarding the future of Barcelona’s Arturo Vidal.
The Chilean midfielder is seemingly Inter’s number one target for the upcoming January transfer window and the chances of Inter landing him look to be rising.
“Vidal is not happy with the situation he is going through at Barcelona, I think he is close to Inter at the moment. He has played only 35% of the total time in the Barça matches so far,” he said.
Fuentealba also spoke on Alexis Sanchez and when the attacker will return after a lengthy injury lay-off due to an ankle injury which required surgery.
“Sanchez’s condition? I spoke to an Inter doctor and he said to me that at the start of January he will return to train with the ball in view of the return date, which is the 15th of the same month.”
