Flamengo want an answer from Gabriel ‘Gabigol’ Barbosa within the next 15 days otherwise they will move on to other targets according to a report from FCInterNews.it.

The Brazilian club have long had a deal in place with Inter over the permanent transfer of the 23-year-old striker, who has been on loan with them since January.

As per the report, Flamengo’s offer consists of an €18 million fee that comes with a 20% future resale clause for Inter, if Gabigol is sold for more than €20 million.

They are however waiting on a response from Gabigol himself. The player postponed all talks on his future until after the Club World Cup was over and now it is over, Flamengo want things sorted as soon as possible.

The report goes on to state that Gabigol, who joined Inter for €30 million back in 2016, is waiting to see what offers arrive from Europe. As things stand, no offers have arrived although Real Valladolid, Crystal Palace and Schalke all have a reported interest.
