Chelsea striker Olivier Giroud has admitted that he will soon meet with club officials to discuss his future with the club.

The veteran French international striker has fallen out of favour at the Premier League outfit this season and has been limited to just three starts and seven appearances across all competitions overall.

“For the moment I am a Chelsea player. I still have a few games to play with this club before the transfer market opens. Then we will sit around a table and make the best decision for me. A return to France is one of the possible solutions,” he explained in an interview with French news outlet Dauphiné Libéré.

Giroud, whose contract is due to expire at the end of the season, is said to be keen to move on to somewhere he can get more game time so he can make the France squad for EURO 2020.

Inter and AC Milan have both been linked with him as have Ligue 1 clubs Marseille, Bordeaux and Lyon among many other clubs.
