Inter striker Romelu Lukaku has the third best goals per game mark in Serie A in the past decade, football analytics company Opta have pointed out.
With his 12 goals in 17 games, he has scored at a rate of 0.71. This is the same mark as second placed Edinson Cavani but Cavani ranks higher due to the fact he scored 87 during this time.
Former Benevento player Cheick Diabate, who is now playing in Iran at Esteghlal, has the best goals per game mark with 0.73 which came with thanks to eight goals in 11 games.
