Ludogorets owner Kiril Domuschiev appears to have no fear but rather real confidence in his side ahead of their upcoming Europa League match against Inter.

“Ludogorets show that money is not everything in football. In the early years, the teams from Sofia had far more resources than we did but that did not stop us from winning the league in Bulgaria,” he told Bulgarian television channel Nova TV.

“This year in the Europa League we have shown that we can beat clubs that have a budget of five, six, seven or eight times bigger than ours, such as CSKA Moscow.

“We changed managers as we wanted someone to adapt to our style of play. It was the right time to change as there is a period in which the new coach can get to know the squad and prepare for the league but also for the matches against Inter in the Europa League.”
