Several Inter first team players left on loan during the Summer transfer window and in this SempreInter.com feature, the progress of each player’s spell out on loan will be documented on a week-by-week basis.

Mauro Icardi – Paris Saint Germain: Icardi got 26 minutes off the bench as PSG crushed Le Mans 4-1 in the Coupe de la Ligue and did not do much but he did grab himself yet another goal plus an assist in PSG’s 4-1 Ligue 1 victory over Amiens. In this game he also had a 100% pass completion rate.

Total stats (all competitions): 18 appearances, 14 goals, 3 assists.

Ivan Perisic – Bayern Munich: Perisic started and finished both of Bayern’s matches since the last Nerazzurri loan update but was unable to contribute any goals or assists in those games. In the 3-1 win over Freiburg, the Croatian was accurate with just two of 10 cross attempts and completed just 71% of passes too.

Things only got worse in the win over Wolfsburg with him managing just one successful cross in six attempts and only a 60% pass completion rate.

Radja Nainggolan – Cagliari: Nainggolan played the entire match as Cagliari lost 2-1 to Udinese. The Belgian had an impressive 88% accuracy with passes to the final third but his overall pass accuracy was just 73%. He had three shots at goal but none ended up on target. He also lost the ball on no less than 21 occasions with a poor first touch often to blame for the losses.

Dalbert – Fiorentina: It was a day to forget for the Brazilian as his side were battered 4-1 by a relentless Roma side at home. He won 40% of his defensive duels, lost the ball eight times and won none of his aerial duels. It was not much better for him when attacking either. He did have 100% cross accuracy although only crossed once and he won just one of five attacking duels.

Total stats (all competitions): 17 appearances, 4 assists.

Joao Mario – Lokomotiv Moscow: The Russian Premier League is currently on its winter break therefore the 26-year-old did not play this past weekend and will not play another league fixture until the beginning of March.

Total stats (all competitions): 12 appearances, 1 goal, 4 assists.

Gabriel ‘Gabigol’ Barbosa – Flamengo: Gabigol played in both of Flamengo’s Club World Cup games but failed to score or assist any of the three goals that the Rio de Janeiro club scored in Qatar. Gabigol’s loan spell with the Mengao is due to expire next week and it remains to be seen what the future will hold for him.

Total stats (all competitions): 59 appearances, 43 goals, 13 assists.

Ionut Andrei Radu – Genoa: Radu did his chances of succeeding Samir Handanovic as Inter’s number one some harm as he shipped four goal as the Rossoblu lost 4-0 away to Inter. This was the fourth week running that the young Romanian conceded more than his xGC suggested he should have and this pattern is beginning to show that he still has some way to go in his development.

Total stats (all competitions): 18 appearances, 36 conceded, 2 clean sheet.

Andrea Pinamonti – Genoa: Pinamonti failed to take a single shot at goal as he played 71 minutes as Genoa lost to Inter. The youngster had no successful dribbles nor crosses either. He has now failed to score in any of his past 10 league appearances, with his last league goal dating back to October 20, when he scored in the 5-1 loss to Parma.

Total stats (all competitions): 17 appearances, 4 goals, 3 assists.

Yann Karamoh – Parma: Karamoh missed his seventh straight match due to a ligament injury as Parma played out a 1-1 draw at home to 18th placed Brescia.
