The future of Barcelona’s Chilean international midfielder Arturo Vidal will be decided after the holiday’s Italian media outlet Corriere della Sera reports.

According to the report, Inter remain very interested in signing the player with Nerazzurri coach Antonio Conte pushing hard for the transfer to be completed this coming January.

However, the player himself, “says one day that he wants to remain in Catalonia before denying having said that 24 hours later” the Corriere reports.

FC Barcelona are currently resisting all advances for the former Juventus and Bayern Munich player but this could all change after the Christmas holiday period according to the report, should Vidal make his mind up and communicate this to the Catalan outfit.

Arturo Vidal was coached by Antonio Conte for three seasons between 2011 and 2014 at Juventus winning three consecutive Serie A titles together during their time together with the Bianconeri, after which Conte resigned in the summer of 2014.
