Hellas Verona and Bologna look set to compete for the signing of Inter defender Federico Dimarco in the upcoming January transfer window according to a report from FCInterNews.it.
Hellas Verona hope to take full advantage of the good relations they have with the Nerazzurri in order to land the Italian youth international on loan for the remainder of the 2019/20 season.
Bologna would also like to take him on loan. Manager Sinisa Mihajlovic is on the look-out for a new left-back and the Rossoblu club want an option to buy included if they are to loan the 22-year-old.
Dimarco is under contract with Inter through to the end of the 2022/23 season and despite Kwadwo Asamoah’s recent injury problems, he has still not managed to force his way into Antonio Conte’s side.
This season, Dimarco, who came through the youth ranks at the club, has been limited to just two appearances, with both of those appearances coming off of the substitutes bench.
