Inter have developed a cautious optimism about their chances of landing Arturo Vidal in the upcoming January transfer window according to a report in the print edition of Libero.
Inter have seemingly identified the Chilean as their number one target to strengthen the midfield and the player himself appears open to completing a move to the Nerazzurri, which would allow him to be reunited with former manager Antonio Conte.
The Nerazzurri have made a €15 million offer to the Blaugrana, an offer that falls some way short of Barcelona’s demands for the 32-year-old. As per the report, they are remaining adamant that they want €25 million for him.
The report goes on to state that a deal for Marcos Alonso meanwhile looks to be complicated. Inter made a loan with obligation to buy deal to Chelsea but their demands for the Spaniard are very high. For this reason, Inter could go in for Parma defender Matteo Darmian.
