Former Inter midfielder Luis Jimenez has given compatriot Alexis Sanchez a vote of confidence ahead of his return from injury.
Sanchez has been missing for a few months now due to an ankle injury which he sustained on international duty that required specialist surgery. The Chilean international is expected to make a return to action in the coming weeks.
“I think he can get back to having fun with his football after a few difficult years for him. In big teams you always have to be at 100%. Inter are a team full of great players, but I am sure that Alexis will do well,” Jimenez, who spent two years with Inter between 2007 and 2009 told Chilean newspaper AS.
Sanchez joined Inter on a season long loan from Premier League outfit Manchester United this past Summer and injury has meant he has only been able to pull on the Nerazzurri shirt on four occasions.
