Radja Nainggolan will return to Inter at the end of the season and only then will a decision be taken on his future with the club according to a report from CalcioMercato.com.
The Belgian central midfielder was shipped out on loan to Cagliari this past Summer and has used his time so far back in Sardinia to great effect.
Nainggolan has performed very well for the Rossoblu club with him having put in many vintage Nainggolan performances. In 16 appearances across all competitions, he has scored four goals and has given five assists for his teammates. Cagliari’s president Tomasso Giulini has also recently praised his leader-like qualities that he has shown.
Nainggolan is under contract with Inter through to the end of the 2021/22 season and it remains to be seen whether or not this form, should it continue, would be enough to convince Inter management to let him have another go.
