Arturo Vidal has given his approval to Inter to move to them in the upcoming January transfer window according to a report in today’s print edition of Gazzetta dello Sport.

The Nerazzurri intend to offer 32-year-old Vidal a three year contract which will expire at the end of the 2021/22 season, a season more than his contract with Barcelona runs for.

The two clubs however are yet to find an agreement and talks appear to be at a stalemate at the moment with both clubs standing firm.

Inter do not wish to spend tonnes of the Chilean international due to his age and want to take him on loan with an option to buy for €12 million. Barcelona on the other hand continue to demand €20 million for the former Juventus midfielder.

The report from the Milanese newspaper goes on to state that Barcelona remain interested in Inter duo Stefano Sensi and Lautaro Martinez.

They had shown an interest in Sensi prior to his move to Inter and have maintained their interest despite the fact Sensi has missed half of the season so far due to injury. Lautaro Martinez is meanwhile seen as a long-term replacement for Luis Suarez.
