Arturo Vidal is Inter’s number one target ahead of the January transfer window but Inter will not be rushing in their attempts to sign him according to a report in today’s print edition of Corriere dello Sport.

The Nerazzurri management understand that it will take time for everything to fall into place between reaching a deal with Barcelona and then with the player himself.

Barcelona continue to demand €20 million for him and will seemingly only drop their demands if Inter are to give them preferential treatment for at least one of Lautaro Martinez, Milan Skriniar or Stefano Sensi.

Vidal very much likes the idea of joining Inter as it would enable him to be reunited with Antonio Conte, who played a huge role in moulding him into the player that he is today.

The report from the Rome based newspaper does however go on to state that Vidal’s former club Juventus have been in touch with regards to a possible return.
