If Inter striker Matteo Politano is not sold to Fiorentina in January, he could be used as part of a deal involving exciting midfielder Dejan Kulusevski next summer, according to a report from today’s paper edition of the Rome based newspaper Corriere dello Sport.
The report details how the Florence based club offered €25-30 million for the 26-year-old Italian last summer, a figure Inter are expecting in the upcoming January transfer window as well. However, the former Sassuolo forward could be used as part of a deal for Atalanta’s 19-year-old Swedish midfielder instead, considering that the Bergamo based club also appreciate Politano.
Whilst Parma have seemingly blocked any departure of Kulusevski in January, the report continues, Inter could look to send Politano to Atalanta next summer for Kulusevski, in part due to the fact that they are still below the Bergamo based club’s valuation for the Swedish midfielder. Inter are prepared to pay €35 million for the 19-year-old, whilst Atalanta want at least €40 million.
