Inter target Dejan Kulusevski discussed his Serie A player of the month award in an interview with Swedish media outlet SVT Sport today.

“There are many different factors that have led to this recognition. I’ve found a team in which I fit perfectly, a coach and team-mates who believe in me. Last year I trained a lot with Atalanta and I felt I maintained this level. Now I’ve come to a team where I’ve had time to play and I’ve taken the opportunity. Obviously I’m very happy with the way things have gone.”

The player briefly touched on his future.

“When you think about the future, you forget the present. I’m thinking about improving today compared to yesterday. What will happen in the future I certainly don’t know. I’m concentrating on how to improve and at the end of the season I’ll make a decision.”

Finally, Kulusevski spoke about his compatriot, Zlatan Ibrahimovic, and his return to AC Milan.

“The Italian league will be incredibly fun when Zlatan arrives, it will lift the whole league. I think it will make a difference for AC Milan. Is he a model for me? Absolutely. I think Zlatan has been a model for all Swedes, especially for us children of immigrants. What he’s done is fantastic, as great as he is in the world.”
