A report from today’s paper edition of the Milano based newspaper Corriere della Sera has taken stock of the current situation surrounding all of Inter’s transfer targets.

The report begins by evaluating the current situation of Barcelona midfielder Arturo Vidal. The Chilean midfielder has recently begun legal proceedings against his club, due to unpaid bonuses from last season. The two parties are now in a war of words, helpful for the Nerazzurri who now have a greater chance of their loan with a buy option have attached being accepted. The Blaugrana have asked for a buy obligation instead, but this recent battle may facilitate easier negotiations between the two clubs.

The next transfer target the report highlighted was Chelsea full back Marcos Alonso. The South London club want at least €50 million for the Spaniard, an incredibly high figure and one the Nerazzurri won’t match. Uruguayan defender Diego Godin may push for a move back to Atletico Madrid in January, despite only arriving six months ago on a free transfer.

If Godin does leave, the alternative for Inter would be Parma defender Matteo Darmian. The 30-year-old Italian can play in both a defensive back three as well as a full back, perfect for Antonio Conte’s tactical system, the report adds.

Finally, the exchange between Inter forward Matteo Politano and Napoli striker Fernando Llorente is close to completion, with the Spaniard being Conte’s first choice as a backup to main striker Romelu Lukaku, the report ends.
