Inter are hoping that the entire squad will be able to travel to Naples for the Nerazzurri’s league clash against Napoli on the 6th January, according to a report in today’s paper edition of the Rome based newspaper Corriere dello Sport.
The report details how Chilean forward Alexis Sanchez’s physical condition is finally reaching a level that will allow him to return to the pitch for the Nerazzurri. The player is expected to play against Napoli, although it’s unknown if he will start or not. Injured Italian Nicolo Barella is also recovering well and is likely to remain on the bench against the Partenopei, in order to not rush his recovery.
Stefano Sensi is expected to be at full fitness for the clash, the report continues, following on from his substitute appearance against Genoa in Inter’s final game of 2019. Ghanaian midfielder Kwadwo Asamoah is also expected to be training with the squad in Appiano Gentile today, suggesting that he will return to the Nerazzurri squad in time for the Napoli clash.
