Inter have improved their offer for Barcelona midfielder Arturo Vidal, as they look to close out the deal after the Nerazzurri’s league clash against Napoli on 6th January, according to a report in today’s paper edition of the Milano based newspaper Gazzetta dello Sport.

The report details how there has been a total relationship breakdown between the Chilean midfielder and the Catalan club due to Vidal’s complaints about unpaid bonuses from last season. Taking advantage of the situation, Inter have now improved their offer to the Catalan club for his signature.

The new offer, the report highlights, is a loan deal with an obligation to buy worth €15 million, a €3 million increase on their previous offer. The Milanese club will offer Vidal the same salary that he earns in Barcelona or a contract that will expire in 2022 worth €5 million net per season. The deal is not expected to be completed until after the Nerazzurri’s game against Napoli in the new year.
