Udinese are interested in signing Inter full back Federico Dimarco in the upcoming January transfer window, according to a report from yesterday’s paper edition of the Venice based newspaper Il Gazzettino.

The report details how the Friulian club are looking to strengthen their squad in January in order to improve upon their league position and guarantee their safety from relegation. The club are currently 14th in the league after 17 games, only four points ahead of 18th place Brescia. Dimarco has been specifically identified due to his more external role at Inter as well as his young age.

Dimarco is also wanted by Hellas Verona and Parma, the report continues. He has only made two appearances all season for the Nerazzurri for a total of 19 minutes. Last season the 22-year-old Italian was on loan at Parma, where he made 14 appearances across all competitions. He missed 14 games through injury last season, suffering a tear in his abductor muscle.
