Inter target Arturo Vidal’s complaints about unpaid bonuses have caused a total relationship breakdown with Barcelona, according to a report from yesterday’s paper edition of the Milano based newspaper Corriere della Sera.

The report details how the player is demanding the payment of €2.4 million in order to satisfy the agreed upon bonuses in his contract. The Catalan club are furious with the Chilean midfielder, as well as with Inter, who allegedly contacted Vidal without going through the club first.

The relationship has now completely deteriorated, the report highlights, suggesting that he is incredibly unlikely to remain with the Blaugrana after the January transfer window. The player himself has spoken about the situation whilst on holiday in Chile, saying: “I find it unfair that I don’t get that money, but it’s a question that has nothing to do with the market.”

The Chilean midfielder is Inter’s top transfer priority in January, the report ends.
