Inter need to find the right transfer formula if they wish to bring Matteo Darmian to the club in the upcoming January transfer window according to a report in today’s print edition of Corriere dello Sport.

Darmian was brought back to Italy this past Summer in a deal done in synergy by Parma and Inter and it was originally presumed that the 30-year-old would be transferring to Inter at the end of this season.

However, due to Kwadwo Asamoah’s continued problems with cartilage in one of his knees, Inter are looking to bring in a new full back in the coming weeks and Darmian is believed to be at the top of their transfer wish list.

This season, Darmian has made 14 appearances across all competitions. In 1170 minutes on the field for the Ducali, the Italian international has provided a single assist for teammates and has helped the team to keep three clean sheets.
