Inter are one of several clubs vying for Atletico Paranaense star Bruno Guimaraes’s signature according to a report from CalcioMercato.com.

The 22-year-old Brazilian central midfielder, who has drawn many comparisons to Barcelona’s Arthur, also has interest in his services from Inter’s arch-rivals Juventus and Spanish giants Atletico Madrid.

Atletico Madrid have in fact already made an offer for the Copa Sudamericana winner which totals €30 million but it falls short of Atletico Paranaense’s €40 million demands for Guimaraes, who is under contract with them until February 1, 2023.

The report also states that Flamengo, Napoli and Benfica have all also show a recent interest in signing Guimaraes, who made 35 appearances across all competitions this year.

In nearly 3000 minutes on the field, Guimaraes, who has dual Brazilian and Spanish nationality, scored four goals and provided three assists for his teammates.

His dual nationality will make things easier, especially for the Italian clubs, due to the fact that they will not have to use up one of their non-EU player slots.
