Inter will postpone any move for Marcos Alonso until later on in the January transfer window due to Chelsea’s continued high demands for the Spaniard according to a report in today’s print edition of Corriere dello Sport.

The Premier League outfit are believed to be demanding no less than €45 million for the recently turned 29-year-old, despite the fact he has not been involved in 10 of the blues past 11 games and is massively out of favour at the club, who he joined back in 2016.

Inter are aware that they cannot satisfy Chelsea’s demands but things could change as weeks go on especially if Alonso is to say he is unhappy.

The Nerazzurri may not even need to consider a move for the former Fiorentina man, who is far from being the only full back under consideration.

Parma’s Matteo Darmian and Alonso’s Chelsea teammate Emerson Palmieri have both been linked as have a few other players.
