Inter have no intention of recalling Ionut Radu from his loan spell with Genoa despite Mattia Perin’s seemingly imminent arrival at the Rossoblu according to a report in today’s print edition of Tuttosport.

Radu joined the Grifone on a season long loan this past Summer but with them sitting bottom of the Serie A table, club management are doing all they can to try and change the club’s fortunes.

22-year-old Radu has been ever present this season but his 35 goals conceded and two clean sheets in 17 league appearances are a real cause for concern.

Davide Nicola has been brought in to replace Thiago Motta as the club’s third manager this season and Radu looks set to lose his place in the team to the much more experienced Perin, who could help Genoa keep more clean sheets.

Perin has fallen right down the pecking order at reigning Italian champions Juventus and has not played whatsoever this season.

Genoa will no doubt be hoping that Perin can pick things up where he left off. In 151 appearances across all competitions for Genoa between 2010 and 2018, he managed to keep 46 clean sheets.
