Inter have identified Marcos Acuna and Layvin Kurzawa as alternatives to Marcos Alonso according to a report in today’s print edition of Tuttosport.

Chelsea have placed a €45 million price tag on 29-year-old Alonso’s head, a figure far more than what Inter are willing to pay for him which is why they have began to search elsewhere, even if they ultimately hope that Chelsea will decrease their demands.

A move for Marcos Acuna is becoming increasingly likely despite the fact his club Sporting are likely to demand a decent sum of money to let him depart.

Kurzawa is someone Inter have followed for a long time and had originally planned to pick him up on a free transfer in the Summer once his contract with Paris Saint Germain expires. Due to his expiring contract status, he could be available quite cheap in January.

Inter have meanwhile cooled their interest in signing Napoli’s Faouzi Ghoulam due to concerns about the Algerian’s injury proneness.

The report from the Turin newspaper goes on to add that a move for Matteo Darmian is not out of the equation either but may only happen if a centre back departs.
