Inter have slapped a €30 million price tag on the head of Matteo Politano amid interest from several clubs in his services according to a report in today’s print edition of Tuttosport.
Roma, Fiorentina, Atalanta and Parma have all shown an interest in signing the 26-year-old winger, who has been unable to force his way into Antonio Conte’s plans this season at Inter.
Politano reportedly had lots of offers arrive in the Summer transfer window but Conte told club management to reject offers so he could take a closer look at the former Sassuolo man.
Should Inter be able to sell Politano for €30 million, they would be making a capital gain of just shy of €10 million due to him having a value of €20.7 million against the clubs books.
Other reports in the media have suggested that Politano’s sale will have an effect on Inter’s transfer window with one report suggesting Inter will move for Olivier Giroud if Politano departs.
The report goes on to add that the only other player in the squad deemed as transferable is Gabriel ‘Gabigol’ Barbosa. The 23-year-old Brazilian is subject to interest from West Ham United, Crystal Palace and Flamengo, who have made a €16 million offer for 80% of his registration rights.
