Arturo Vidal has promised himself to Inter and to Inter manager Antonio Conte according to a report from Italian broadcaster Sport Mediaset.
Vidal is Inter’s number one transfer objective for the imminently opening January transfer window and club management are at work trying to satisfy the demands of Conte, who wants several reinforcements brought in to bolster Inter’s title charge.
Barcelona do not wish to part ways with the 32-year-old Chilean and are believed to be demanding €20 million for him in a bid to try and deter Inter’s interest with Inter believed to have no interest in spending a significant sum on him due to his age.
However, with Vidal promising himself to them, the report goes on to state that Inter could therefore raise their offer for him up to €15 million.
Vidal has made 19 appearances across all competitions this season but is understood to be unhappy about not starting as much as he would have liked. In 767 minutes, he has scored five goals and provided a single assist.
