Inter’s move for Barcelona’s Arturo Vidal has become complicated due to the situations of teammates Carles Alena and Arthur according to a report from Spanish radio station Cadena COPE.

The 32-year-old Chilean international midfielder is the Nerazzurri’s number one transfer target for the January transfer window and if reaching a deal with Barcelona was not already hard enough, it has certainly got hard now.

This is due to Carles Alena’s seemingly imminent transfer away from the Blaugrana coupled with Arthur’s injury, which looks set to keep him out on the sidelines for a few weeks.

As a result, Barcelona are anxious to let Vidal go, despite him being very unhappy at the club, as it would mean they would be down three midfielders.

The report also goes on to state that Inter have not made any official offer to the reigning Spanish champions for the former Juventus player, who is reportedly very keen to reunite with Inter manager Antonio Conte.
