Inter are serious about Christian Eriksen and will try to sign him up during the course of this transfer window according to a report in today’s print edition of Corriere dello Sport.

The report states that Inter consider a move for the Danish playmaker easier now despite the fact they could get him for nothing come the Summer due to his expiring contract with Tottenham Hotspur.

Although Inter will have to stump up a fee to sign him in January, there is less competition for his signature at the moment and  clubs who are better off financially than Inter could easily offer him more in wages come the Summer.

The report goes on to state that it will ultimately all come down to the player himself who has yet to clarify his plans for the future. The former Ajax player has not said whether he wishes to leave in January or wait until the Summer.

It also goes on to add that both Paris Saint Germain and Real Madrid are interested in signing the 27-year-old.
