Inter are hoping Arturo Vidal will take Barcelona to court as they chase a deal for the midfielder, according to Sport Mediaset.
Vidal’s lawyers filed a complaint to Spain’s player union (AFE) last month over an alleged unpaid bonus of €2 million, but it has since been thrown out.
Barca boss Ernesto Valverde excluded a January departure for the Chilean yesterday and included him in his squad for tonight’s La Liga fixture at Espanyol.
Antonio Conte is thought to be keen on a reunion with the 32-year-old after the pair spent three years working together at Juventus.
SM also reiterated reports emerging from Denmark that Inter were on the verge of agreeing a deal to sign Christian Eriksen from Tottenham.
The 27-year-old is out of contract in the summer with head coach Jose Mourinho failing to rule out a sale this month.
Inter will resume their Serie A campaign after the winter break when they play Napoli on Monday.
