According to the latest reports from La Gazzetta dello Sport, Inter coach Antonio Conte has been given a much-needed boost at the start of 2020 with several key injury concerns set to return to first team action. Indeed, Stefano Sensi, Nicolo Barella and Alexis Sanchez are all expected to play an important role as the Nerazzurri look to clinch their first Scudetto since 2010.

Sensi may well find himself in the starting XI against Napoli on Monday night, with his season having been interrupted three months ago during the home match versus Juventus. Clearly, the team has missed his creativity at times and his return will no doubt be a boost for Romelu Lukaku and Lautaro Martinez in attack.

Barella, the former Cagliari midfielder, was really starting to show glimpses of his talent before his season was brought to a sudden halt as he sustained a serious knee injury in late November.

Last but by no means least, Sanchez’s return will provide some much-needed respite for Lukaku and Lautaro who have been forced to share the workload between themselves following the Chilean’s injury. His return might just give Inter the edge as they try to overthrow Juventus in the Serie A title race.
