Inter are unlikely to raise their offer for Marcos Acuna high enough to meet Sporting’s demands according to a report in today’s print edition of Corriere dello Sport.

The Portuguese giants want €20 million for the Argentine full back and seem completely against the idea of loaning him to Inter.

Inter want to take the 28-year-old on loan for the remainder of the season with an option to buy but Sporting would prefer to have a guarantee of sorts that they would actually get something for Acuna.

Acuna, who has been with the Lisbon based club since 2017, has made 21 appearances across all competitions this season. In 1727 minutes on the field, he has scored one goal and contributed a single assist too.

The report from the Rome based newspaper goes on to state that because of this, as well as a move for Chelsea’s Marcos Alonso looking unfeasible, Inter could well go after a Mister X.
