Inter and Juventus have both sparked an interest in signing Napoli goalkeeper Alex Meret according to a report in today’s print edition of Il Mattino.

The 22-year-old shot-stopper is regarded as one of the top Italian goalkeeping prospects at the moment and has cemented his position as the number one keeper of the Stadio San Paolo this club this season.

His agent is well aware of the interest in his client and the report adds that there are also several admirers from the Premier League.

Napoli president Aurelio De Laurentiis however has absolutely no intention of giving up the former Udinese player, who completed a permanent switch to the club this past Summer following a successful season long loan in the 2018/19 season.

Meret, who is under contract with Napoli through to the end of the 2022/23 season, has made 18 appearances across all competitions. He has conceded 21 goals and kept six clean sheets.
